Fantastic group stage match-ups and where to find them.

After a 12 month delay, the Euros are finally round the corner. If you're like me, you'll be looking forward to an endless stream of football for the next month. Even though this league season has felt like one long slog, I'm curiously excited to watch three games a day for the next couple of weeks. WFH is going to work an absolute treat, isn't it? All the bases have already been covered with wall-to-wall previews and tactical analysis on established footballing publications, except for where to watch the games and a few cheeky tips if you fancy a punt. For now, we'll stick to the group stage as the ramifications of potential knockout match-ups are too numerous to comprehend.

Turkey v Italy

Friday 11th June 2021, 20:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: Turkey are good, but the Italians have been great since Mancini has been at the helm. In a group, they should top with some ease; I'm backing the Azzurri in their standard 2-0 win.

Wales v Switzerland

Saturday 12th June 2021, 14:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: The Swiss always seem to have a better team than I expect. It's no different here, and I think their superior quality will be too much for Wales in a competitive affair. I fancy a 1-2 win for the chocolatiers.

Denmark v Finland

Saturday 12th June 2021, 17:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: Denmark are a good team and showed their quality in their victory at Wembley in October of last year. 3-1 to the Danes, I say.

Belgium v Russia

Saturday 12th June 2021, 20:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: Belgium will likely be without KDB for this game, but they have more than enough quality to spare. I can see them taking maximum points from the group stage, starting with a 3-0 victory over the Russians.

England v Croatia

Sunday 13th June 2021, 14:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: England are joint-favourites for this tournament - that's never a good sign. I'm looking forward to a glorious summer, beginning with a tense 2-1 victory against the 2018 World Cup finalists.

Austria v North Macedonia

Sunday 13th June 2021, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: Austria narrowly beat North Macedonia a couple of years back in qualification for this tournament. The Euros newcomers have gotten better since then, but I think Austria will just shade it. A late goal to settle it in a 2-0 win.

Netherlands v Ukraine

Sunday 13th June 2021, 20:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: I can see this being a harder fought game than expected with a late Netherlands winner to claim a 2-1 win.

Scotland v Czech Republic

Monday 14th June 2021, 14:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: I'm really excited for this game, both these teams have a good chance of making it out of this group, and their game 1 match-up may spur them on to put the other out of contention. I'm seeing a high scoring draw, 2-2.

Poland v Slovakia

Monday 14th June 2021, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: Two words, Robert Lewangoalski. 2-0 to the Poles.

Spain v Sweden

Monday 14th June 2021, 20:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: I think we could get out first upset of the competition here. Sweden have some real quality in their ranks, and after frustrating Spain for much of the game, I reckon someone like Kulusevski will produce a bit of magic. 0-1 Sweden.

Hungary v Portugal

Tuesday 15th June 2021, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: Spoiler alert, Portugal are really good. A comfortable 1-3 win here for me.

France v Germany

Tuesday 15th June 2021, 20:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: This game is going to be so much fun. I'm struggling to see past France getting off to a devastating start. The French don't normally score many goals, so I'm going for a 2-0 victory over the Germans.

Finland v Russia

Wednesday 16th June 2021, 14:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: I don't think there'll be too much to separate these sides. Both teams' results have been up and down for the last year or so. Score draw for me, 1-1.

Turkey v Wales

Wednesday 16th June 2021, 17:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: Another fairly even contest in my books. I can see them cancelling each other out over the 90. 0-0.

Italy v Switzerland

Wednesday 16th June 2021, 20:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: I'm going to make it 3 for 3 on Wednesday. Both teams are solid defensively, and unless there's an odd goal, I can't see past either side risking it, especially if they both win their first games. 0-0 again.

Ukraine v North Macedonia

Thursday 17th June 2021, 14:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: This one will be tight, but unfortunately, I can see North Macedonia on the end of another narrow defeat. 2-1 to Ukraine.

Denmark v Belgium

Thursday 17th June 2021, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: Denmark are good, but they're not as good as Belgium. Chalk up another victory in an entertaining 1-2 victory against the Danes.

Netherlands v Austria

Thursday 17th June 2021, 20:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: I'm feeling a score draw here. 1-1.

Sweden v Slovakia

Friday 18th June 2021, 14:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: Sweden will have too much quality for the Slovakians. The central European side have found themselves in a difficult group, and I can't see them getting any joy against the Swedes. 3-0.

Croatia v Czech Republic

Friday 18th June 2021, 17:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: I'm predicting a surprisingly poor tournament for Croatia. I think the Czech's are a robust side and will eventually get the better of their opponents. 1-2 victory for Czechia.

England v Scotland

Friday 18th June 2021, 20:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: The Derby! I can't wait. The Scots will be up for this, of course, which will make it a difficult game for England, but I expect them to prevail 3-1.

Hungary v France

Saturday 19th June 2021, 14:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: Sorry Hungary, France will have too much here. Hard-earned,  but a victory all the same. 1-2 France for me.

Portugal v Germany

Saturday 19th June 2021, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: If not for the German crowd, I could see this ending very badly for Low's men. However, I think they could eke out a 1-1 draw with their fans spurring them on.

Spain v Poland

Saturday 19th June 2021, 20:00, BBC One

Tum's Tip: I'd expect Spain to get their tournament back on track with a win against Poland in their second game. I'm going for a decisive 3-1 win.

Italy v Wales

Sunday 20th June 2021, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: I can see Wales making a real go of it in their final group game but ultimately, I think they'll come up short. If Italy are already through, the result could be very different, but I'm predicting a 2-1 Italian win.

Switzerland v Turkey

Sunday 20th June 2021, 17:00, ITV 4

Tum's Tip: I struggle to see past another stalemate in this one. A draw should be enough for both sides to progress if the other games go the way I think. 0-0.

North Macedonia v Netherlands

Monday 21st June 2021, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: A draw with Austria in their previous game will keep the Netherlands honest, and that may work against North Macedonia. I think they'll provide stiff competition for each of their Group C opponents, but they'll probably depart without putting any points on the board. 2-0 Netherlands.

Ukraine v Austria

Monday 21st June 2021, 17:00, ITV TBC

Tum's Tip: Another tight encounter in a competitive group. I fancy a score draw. 1-1.

Finland v Belgium

Monday 21st June 2021, 20:00, BBC

Tum's Tip: It looks like this one will be a dead rubber with the Belgians through and the Fines already packing. Finland will be keen to record a result, but Belgium's likely B team will still be too strong. 0-2 win for a Belgian full house.

Russia v Denmark

Monday 21st June 2021, 20:00, BBC

Tum's Tip: Comfortable Denmark victory here. They'll need a win to progress and should be too strong for the Russians. 0-2.

Croatia v Scotland

Tuesday 22nd June 2021, 20:00, ITV 4

Tum's Tip: With the way I see the fixtures going, both sides will need to record a win to stand any chance of qualification for the knockout stages. I think that suits the Scots in what could be a legendary night at Hampden Park. So I'm backing the Tartan Army in a 0-1 win.

Czech Republic v England

Tuesday 22nd June, 20:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: I expect changes will be aplenty with England already through. With that in mind, I think it'll be bonkers - why not. 2-3 England win.

Slovakia v Spain

Wednesday 23rd June, 17:00, ITV

Tum's Tip: Spain will continue their uptick in form with a commanding victory to take them into the next round. 0-3 win for the Spaniards.

Sweden v Poland

Wednesday 23rd June, 17:00, ITV TBC

Tum's Tip: With some changes in the lineup, I don't expect the Swedes to be as tight at the back and I can see Poland getting some joy in front of goal. Poland will almost certainly need something from this final group game, but I reckon it'll end up as a 2-2 draw.

Germany v Hungary

Wednesday 23rd June 20:00, BBC

Tum's Tip: People always forget about the 4th team in a group of death. I feel for the Hungarians, they're competent, but I expect the Germans to prevail, especially if they need points to make it out of the group. I think a battling 2-1 victory for the Germans is a good bet.

Portugal v France

Wednesday 23rd June 20:00, BBC

Tum's Tip: Some future tournament planning makes this match up hard to predict. By this point, both teams will likely know who their opponents will be if they finish as group winners or runners up. Ultimately, a draw will do, and that's what I expect the result to be. 1-1.

Using UEFA's brilliant tournament predictor, this is how I think the final tables will look. Can't wait to find out how wrong I am in a month.
